Generation

The sterilization devices are placed in the SteriBox, with a few drops of water added onto the absorbent paper. The SteriBox is then closed and placed into the SteriBase. Ozone – a biocidal gas – is generated on-site from the air using 172 nm V-UV radiation and is effectively distributed throughout the container.
Exploatation

High gas concentration and humidity are maintained. The parameters are monitored to ensure process efficiency and the complete elimination of all microorganisms (bacteria, yeasts, fungi, viruses, and spores).
Validation

All residual biocidal gas is actively removed and converted back into oxygen using 254 nm UV radiation. The contents of the SteriBox are sterile and ready for use.
